Songs of Summer

There are few songs that seem best played with the volumed cranked, windows down, warm summer air blowing on your face.  Brian Adams, "Summer of 69," Alice Copper's "Summer's Out,""All You Need is Love," by the Beatles.
There is certain music that just makes more sense in the summertime.

Over the next 6 weeks, I want to give you a tool to experience life this summer like never before.     (No, it isn't a convertible, but if you have one you would like to "donate" to the cause, give me a shout.)

Below is a 35 days reading schedule to read through the book of Psalms.  I do not know a better way to help shape how Our Father wants us to view life, than to allow the Psalms to speak into our hearts.

Take the challenge and read it on your own, with your spouse, children or even your LifeGroup.  I pray and hope this is a schedule that will bless you immensely.

Margin

We are beginning a new message series this week at Countryside entitled, "Margin: Making room for what really matters."

I get stoked about "new" a lot in my life, especially the beginning of message series.  All the preaching and teaching I do, always points directly at my heart.  And this series is no different.

I have been challenged to ask myself "What does really matter to you, Nate?"   And  the greatest way for me radar that is to assess where I am spending my time and energy.  Is is with family? Am I dating my wife?  Is it utilizing my spiritual gifts for the Kingdom?  Or I am just "staying busy?"

Over the next four weeks at CCC we will be looking at how to create margin in our lives spiritually and physically.  Margin is needed, the question is Do we know where to find it?
